Swedish Massage

$50 per 70 minutes

Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and general therapeutic style of bodywork. Perfect for someone who is new to bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with long strokes that help move blood and lymph as well as reduce lactic acid and build up of other toxins that slow us down and make us feel tired. The benefits of Swedish are wide-ranging and include relief from simple aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, increased flow of blood and lymph, enhanced mental clarity, and greater flexibility.

These effects happen as a result of massage and all you need to do is ease into the massage table!


CranioSacral (SM)

CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle approach to releasing tension between the Cranium and Sacrum. This is a subtle yet powerful technique. It does this by optimizing the movement of cerebrospinal fluid around the Cranium and through the Spine. Developed by physician William Sutherland, this therapy provides a very soothing and relaxing healing experience.


Myofascial Release

Myofascial release is a form of soft tissue therapy intended to eliminate pain, increase range of motion, and rebalance the entire body. It does this by using deep tissue massage techniques to stretch the fascia and release the physcial inhibitions that exist between the fascia, muscles and bones.

Fascia is simply the connective tissue that connects and covers all muscles, organs, cells, and skeletal structures of the body. At any given time Fascia can hold around 2500 lbs. per square inch of pressure on that area.
